LA’s Skirball Cultural Center has announced the lineup for its 2026 summer Sunset Concerts series. Now in its 29th season, the free series will be organized around the 250th anniversary of the US, with eight featured artists who all exist at the crossroads of a uniquely American genre: jazz. To kick things off, Cory Henry and the Funk Apostles will perform on July 16 with support from Katalyst. On July 23, Terrace Martin will play a special Miles Davis–themed set, while Brandee Younger will open. The series will wrap with two gigs: Tortoise and Kassa Overall on July 30, and Annie and the Caldwells with The Campbell Brothers on August 6.
Before the series kicks off, Tank and the Bangas will be taking the stage with Butter Funk Family on July 2. You can purchase tickets to that show here, and find more info on the free events at Skirball Center’s official website.
