Margo Price has shared Days of Unrest, a surprise collection of protest songs new and old. Released just in time for the 250th anniversary of this nation, the project sees Price teaming up with Joan Baez and Memphis Mariachi for a new rendition of Woody Guthrie’s “Deportee (Plane Wreck at Los Gatos),” as well as her own takes on Bob Dylan’s “Maggie’s Farm,” the Spanish-language “De Colores,” and Charlie Daniels’ “Long Haired Country Girl.” Other tracks include original cuts “Can’t Stand Still” and the three-part instrumental “San Marcos.”

A portion of the D2C proceeds from Days of Unrest’s vinyl edition will be donated to the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project. Listen to the mixtape here and watch the powerful video for “Deportee” below.
