Helen—the trio of Liz Harris (a.k.a. Grouper), Scott Simmons (Eat Skull), and Jed Bindeman (Eternal Tapestry)—have announced their return. Their second album, Linda’s Head, is set to arrive on October 8 via the always-great Kranky. The last music released by the trio was their 2015 debut The Original Faces, a gem of fuzzy and scuzzy alt-pop. Now, the trio have shared “Linda’s Head” and “Dead Shark II,” both of which fit firmly into the style fans of the band will recognize.
