Picking up where FLOOD 1 left off, the new issue features profiles of some of the most interesting people currently working in music, film and TV, and arts and culture. Our two covers are graced by Big Grams—the shot-calling team of Big Boi and Phantogram—and BoJack Horseman, the anthropomorphic horse and star of the eponymous Netflix show who is voiced by Will Arnett.

In addition to exclusive interviews with Big Grams and the team behind BoJack Horseman, including creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg and lead artist Lisa Hanawalt, we sat down with Kurt Vile to talk about the process behind a few standout tracks from his new record, b’lieve i’m goin down…, while A Walk in the Woods author Bill Bryson gave us some tips on how to travel like a pro. We took a closer look at New Order‘s history on the occasion of their new album, Music Complete, and we took fellow Brits Wolf Alice on a ride around Los Angeles. The artist Mel Kadel invited us into her home to talk about her haunting work, while Garfunkel and OatesKate Micucci hung a few pieces in our gallery. Moby invited us to grab a bite at Little Pine, his new vegan restaurant in Silver Lake. We even got Kim D. M. Simmons—who shot the packaging art for the original Star Wars toys—and LA artist Sket One to help us get ready for the release of The Force Awakens.

All of that, plus interviews with Bully, Son Little, BØRNS, Baseball Card Vandals, and Sam Richardson of VEEP and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates—and a photo essay of Iceland from photographer Emily Shur.
