Fontaines D.C. are counting down the days until the October 16 release of their fifth album, Dopamine Chamber, and brought that anticipation to the US with a pair of underplay shows in New York and Los Angeles last week. On Friday night, the band performed a 19-song set for an enraptured crowd at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, drawing heavily from their Romance and Skinty Fia albums alongside four songs from the new one. Playing among the graves of Johnny and Dee Dee Ramone, Judy Garland, Mel Blanc, and Chris Cornell, the band dedicated “It’s Amazing to Be Young” to another Hollywood Forever resident, David Lynch.
