Primavera Sound is going big for the event’s 25th anniversary, with 151 artists being announced today for what is essentially a week-long takeover of the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona. Sixteen of those artists are headliners: Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines D.C., Hayley Williams, FKA twigs, Turnstile, Massive Attack, The Chemical Brothers, Robyn, Bad Gyal, Lola Young, ADÉLA, Caroline Polachek, Prospa, and Skrillex sharing the stage with Ninajirachi for a B2B DJ set.
Addition draws next year include Pavement, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Tinashe, Underworld, Bleachers, ANOHNI, Angine de Poitrine, Arca, Isaiah Rashad, CHVRCHES, underscores, MUNA, Weyes Blood, Julien Baker, Westside Cowboy, Kelsey Lu, and the recently returned Atlas Sound—the solo project of Deerhunter’s Bradford Cox. The event will primarily take place between June 3 and 5, in addition to an opening day, a closing electronic music party, and a yet-to-be-revealed “parallel programme” that will help stretch the proceedings out another couple of days.
