Kacey Musgraves’ Middle of Nowhere tour stopped through Austin this week, with a pair of shows at the Lone Star State capital’s Moody Center on Wednesday and Thursday evening. On the evening of the first show, the Texas native’s 21-song set included a cover of Texas Tornados’ “(Hey Baby) Qué Pasó,” a glowing, drone-operated butterfly hovering above the crowd during “Butterflies,” and a special appearance by Miranda Lambert for their collaborative track “Horses and Divorces,” marking a public reconciliation between the two Texas country stars. The night closed with a cover of George Strait’s “All My Ex’s Live in Texas.”
FLOOD photographer Daniel Cavazos was onsite Wednesday night, where he captured scenes from Musgraves’ performance. Check those out below, and find the rest of her upcoming dates here.
