Portola 2026 has come and gone, but before we wrap up of our coverage of the annual celebration of eclectic electronic music in San Francisco—which included a full set of photos documenting performances by Robyn, Beastie Boys’ Mike D, Skrillex and Boys Noize’s reunited Dog Blood duo, and plenty more—we figured we’d share a firsthand account of the event from one the artists playing the event, as we have in the past. This year, Chicago-based house artist Azzecca answered the call, taking us on a walk through all the press ops, festival scenery, afterparties, and even her own set throughout the course of the day.

You can check out her photo diary of the day below—and if you missed her set, she’ll be back in the Bay Area soon enough with a November 5 opening slot for Moby on her calendar. Grab tickets for that show here.

We’ve arrived! Headed to the crane stage for a lil’ Sunday boogie.

Quick changeover and hang with bestie Torren.

Seriously such good weather in SF—had so much fun dancing with you guys!

Very serious conversations about brutalist architecture, my favorite DJs—and cats, obviously.

Nothing beats being cozy at a festival!

Fit check complete with my love, Tiny.

Most of the weekend looked exactly like this: running between stages trying to fit in as much music as we could.

Had so much fun at my afterparty! Shoutout to Audio, you guys are the best. Truly such a great club!

Booth kisses with old friends are essential for any touring DJ.

It was a bad weekend to be a martini. Thank you Portola! Can’t wait to be back in SF so soon for my Moby support show.
