Earlier this month, Kacey Musgraves teamed up with Intocable for a Spanish-language version of “Uncertain, TX,” featured on her 2026 LP, Middle of Nowhere. Now, the country star has confirmed that this version is part of something bigger, a new version of Middle of Nowhere entitled Vol. 2: Tex Mex Tapes.
The 16-track release features 11 new songs and five covers, including that aforementioned Spanish rendition of “Uncertain, TX.” The whole thing will arrive via Lost Highway on January 15, but “Weekend in Texas” and her version of norteño standard “Mi Tesoro” will arrive tonight at midnight ET.
