Rockstar Games and Justice have announced Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score, set for release on December 11 via Because Music, Ed Banger, and Rockstar Games.
The album will be released in double-CD and triple-LP editions, with the vinyl available in both a limited-edition crystal-clear pressing and standard black. The release features 30 tracks, along with a number of bonus digital tracks comprising a three hour-long suite of material from the game.
Ahead of the album’s release, Justice have shared the latest single from the project, “Pusher,” featuring Gesaffelstein. “The scope of the game is so large geographically and thematically that it was clear from the beginning the music would also have to be very broad in terms of emotions, genres, and textures,” said Justice’s Xavier de Rosnay. “We were given the freedom to explore as many things as we needed to, musically speaking.”
Earlier this month, Justice unveiled the first track from the score, “Flower in a Hurricane,” featuring SZA, Tame Impala, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
