Last week, Beach House shocked everyone with the news that their follow up to Depression Cherry—which, you’ll remember, just came out in August—would be released this coming Friday.
You can hear three tracks from the band’s sixth LP Thank Your Lucky Stars now on their website. Much as they did with Depression Cherry, Beach House have further eschewed the traditional record roll out process with something called Single Finder, which generates a new song for the listener based on their three favorite tracks from the band’s discography. The resulting “singles” are either “Majorette,” “She’s So Lovely,” or “One Thing.”
