Last October, Marvel unveiled their plot to take over the world when they released the details of “Phase Three,” which is essentially a movie schedule plotting out several gigantic superhero blockbusters to be released each year through 2018 (and probably also has something to do with sharks with laser beams attached to their heads).
Following Ant-Man and Avengers: Age of Ultron, the upcoming Captain America: Civil War marks the first release of that third stage, set to kick off in May of next year. Last night, the first full-length trailer was released, confirming some of the reported details, while at the same time keeping certain rumored aspects a mystery.
The trailer, which showcases Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Scarlett Johansson, William Hurt, Robert Downey Jr., and Chadwick Boseman (for just a brief second, thus premiering the MCU’s take on Black Panther), is available to watch below.
Captain America: Civil War is out May 6, 2016.
