Kendrick Lamar recently brought his tight backing band The Wesley Theory into the Moody Theater to tape an episode of the long-running live-performance show Austin City Limits. While the episode won’t air until January 9, you can check out the group performing To Pimp a Butterfly standout “Alright” below. It’s a decidedly less dramatic take on the song than Kendrick’s BET Awards performance, but it does capture something of the energy and intimacy of the recent Kunta’s Groove Sessions tour.
