You might not recognize his name, but you’ve seen Jeremy Gara before. Whether it is watching him on tour as a multi-talented member of Arcade Fire or catching a glimpse of him on Late Night with Seth Meyers where he’s occasionally filling in for Fred Armisen on drums, Gara has been making the music industry rounds for years. And now, like several of his fellow AF members before him, Gara has announced his first solo album, Limn.
This morning, Gara released “Divinity”—the lead single off of his upcoming experimental noise LP—and it does a pretty good job of living up to its lofty title with a myriad of complex and dense ambient sounds. Listen to the calming track and check out Limn‘s track listing below.
