Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out over a month ago, but Star Wars fever continues to spread throughout the galaxy as the film franchise’s seventh installment racks up every box office record known to man. As of right now, there isn’t a cure for this particular fever (especially with the fresh news that there will be more Star Wars films after the already planned ninth offering), but there is a way to live a happy and healthy life with the virus coursing through your veins—just give into the dark side Disney. Harrison Ford, Han Solo himself, will help administer your next dose of Star Wars mania in the upcoming ABC television special, The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60.
Ford will appear in the special, which also features a performance by Elton John and fancy fireworks, to unveil the detailed plans of the Magical Kingdom’s newest area Star Wars Land. Fans of the franchise and the theme parks hope to gain more insight about the planned additions to Disneyland and Disney World beyond the nuggets that there will be a Millennium Falcon re-creation and a new Resistance vs. First Order attraction for people to wait in massive lines for.
About the newest land, Disney’s Chairman and Chief Executive Robert Iger has tried to calm the fears of Star Wars die-hards: “The attractions, the entertainment—everything we create will be part of our storytelling. Nothing will be out of character or stray from the [Star Wars] mythology.” This is great news for fans, but probably means very little to Ford, who is known for not going back and only going forward in his career. Here’s to hoping he gets very deep into the mechanics of each attraction in the special.
The Wonderful World of Disney: Disneyland 60 premieres on February 21 on ABC.
