It’s a fine line between a trainwreck and a masterpiece and, in their long career, Primal Scream are certainly no strangers to that delicate walk. Today, with some help from Sky Ferreira, the band has embarked on the tightrope once again by sharing the certifiably ridiculous “Where the Light Gets In,” the lead single from the recently announced Chaosmosis.
The corresponding video is appropriately absurd, and was directed by Douglas Hart—the former Jesus and Mary Chain bassist, and visionary behind other notable videos such as My Bloody Valentine’s “You Made Me Realise” and The Stone Roses’ “Waterfall.”
Chaosmosis is out March 18 on First International/Ignition.
