February 20–21
Los Angeles, California

Last year, two-time Olympic gold medalist (and Bad Things guitarist) Shaun White kicked off Air + Style, a new festival in Los Angeles that combines two of the things that he knows best: extreme sports and music. The inaugural affair went down on the grounds of the Rose Bowl, but for the 2016 edition, the ramps and stages were moved to the heart of the city—to Exposition Park at the Coliseum (where FYF Fest has been hosted for the last few years).

Perhaps in part due to the beautiful weather (it was just a tad bit nicer out than it was this time last year), Air + Style felt very much at home hosting big-time acts like J. Cole, HAIM, Action Bronson, Danny Brown, and our very own FLOOD 2 cover stars Big Grams—all while a two-day snowboard competition on a massive sixteen-story ramp was going on all around them (Japan’s Yuki Kadono took home the top spot for that, FYI).

Grab a helmet and check out pictures from the event below.
