WATCH: KING “Carry On” in New Animated Video
The LA R&B trio play FLOODfest Austin next week.
We Are KING, the debut album from the ’90s-inflected R&B group KING, has made fans of everyone from Questlove and Erykah Badu to Stevie Wonder and Prince—and that despite their name being superior to his, as far as monarchal hierarchies go.
Now, the group have released a new video for album track “Carry On,” a breathy number that glides by on a willowing groove. The video, which was created by Berlin illustrator Veronica Solomon, is similarly celestial as it follows a pair of cloud-walking legs further into the sky for a cosmic light show.
You can check the video out below, and you can see KING for yourself when they play FLOODfest Austin next week.
