Alex G’s thing is to sort of not overdo it—he’s a one note at a time kind of dude. That’s played into his seven albums to date, particularly on the recent Beach Music, which was a rock solid collection of gentle and experimental folk collages. We’re lucky enough to be hosting G next week in Austin for FLOODfest SXSW, for which we anxiously await.
To help stave off the wait, the DIY-scene staple cut us some slack by sharing a new video, which finds him roaming around the woods with a friend. They eat things that they probably shouldn’t be eating, and touch things that they probably shouldn’t be touching. That’s how you get poison ivy, kids!
Beach Music is out now via Domino.
