This summer, Michael Phelps will (probably) be competing in his last Olympics ever. The swimmer has been dazzling the world with his effortless strokes since the 2004 games in Athens, Greece, and over the last twelve years he’s become the most decorated Olympian of all time. He’s had a couple of missteps, but, all in all, Phelps cannot be stopped.
In their new ad celebrating Phelps’s legacy and final showdown in the pool, Under Armour has put the spotlight on all the work that the athlete has to do to get to the Olympics. Yes, his body is perfectly proportioned for swimming success, but Phelps’s training routines are intense and relentless. You can feel all of that exhaustion in the one-and-a-half minute clip below.
