Fresh off of their performance at the previous weekend’s Coachella, The 1975 took over LA’s Shrine Expo Hall for two nights of neon-drenched nostalgia. The squelchy, ’80s-indebted sounds of their recently released second album, I Like it When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It, were met with appropriately purple lighting on the Shrine’s stage. Prince would’ve been proud.
