LIVE, IN PHOTOS: The 1975 at Shrine Expo Hall (4/18/2016)

The British quartet invade Los Angeles, are beautiful, and are probably aware of it.

Fresh off of their performance at the previous weekend’s Coachella, The 1975 took over LA’s Shrine Expo Hall for two nights of neon-drenched nostalgia. The squelchy, ’80s-indebted sounds of their recently released second album, I Like it When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It, were met with appropriately purple lighting on the Shrine’s stage. Prince would’ve been proud.
