This past weekend in Los Angeles, Stephen Stills’s fourth annual Light Up the Blues concert went down, bringing together a litany of talent into one room to benefit Autism Speaks. As it was an event driven by the bond of family and friends, we were naturally thrilled to have members of that family recap it for us: Stephen’s daughters Alex and Ellie teamed up, with the former penning the words and the latter providing the photographs.

Behind the scenes, however, there was another photographer at work—Michael Muller, whom you may know from, like…everything…but also from his new TASCHEN book Sharks: Face-to-Face with the Ocean’s Endangered Predator, for which he recently explained to us why he wasn’t totally crazy to make. You can check out a gallery of his portraits of the night’s talent below.
