Following the recent news that Christian Bale was vying to play the role of Steve Jobs in a(nother) biopic about the late Apple co-founder, Variety now reports that Seth Rogen has been tapped to star opposite Bale as Jobs’ one-time partner Steve Wozniak in the Sony film. Wozniak founded Apple Inc with Jobs and is credited with designing the Apple I and Apple II computers.

Rogen would join an already star-studded project, which includes director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) and writer Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network), whose script is based on biography Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson.

No word yet on whether or not Rogen’s probable addition to the cast will add any Apatow-esque humor to the film, but regardless of comedic direction, this project has us intrigued to say the least.
