“Flesh War” Music Video, 2014, Total Control

Melbourne, Australia’s Total Control has a track perfect for late-night drives..literally. Off of Typical System, released earlier this year, “Flesh War” has a steady beat, glimmering synths, and droning vocals that fill the air nicely, but don’t overshadow all the philosophical pondering that typically comes at night.

If that’s not enough to convince you it belongs on that late-night playlist, their video for the song will plant the idea into your head and you’ll never look back. It takes you along for a ride, displaying the street lights against wet asphalt, the rustling leaves of tree silhouettes, the neon store signs, and the occasional wanderers; you know, usual nighttime city happenings.

Sit back, press play, and enjoy the ride. You may want to take one yourself after watching this. We suggest picking up Typical System for a start.
