While Bee Bee Sea’s infiltration of America’s garage rock scene began over a year ago now, the eight tracks that comprise Sonic Boomerang still sound as fresh as ever. The Italian three-piece have since made a name for themselves in the U.S. with their energetic Black Lips–derivative punk sound and goofy Nicktoon aesthetic, both of which are on full display in their performance of “Chum on the Drum” for Pickathon’s Slab Sessions. Though nobody gets naked and nothing catches on fire, the Sea would still make the Atlanta boys proud.
As always, this episode of the Slab Sessions was produced by the excellent folks at Half Stop Sessions.
