Beck’s contribution is also a cover take. “Tarantula” was originally the B-side of ’80s electronic outfit Colourbox’s debut single, “Breakdown.” Here, Beck retools the tune into a mournful string section melody that swells into a sea of warm synths and a twenty-four-piece ensemble, all arranged in collaboration with his father, David Campbell.
