We’ve been jamming to Weyes Blood’s Titanic Rising lead single for five months now, but the track took on a whole new form last night when Natalie Mering made her network TV debut with a performance for Seth Meyers and a million or so of his viewers.
With a backing band barely visible on the dark stage, Mering stood front and center in a white suit, bouncing along to the single’s undeniable jaunt. The performance preceded a slew of headlining dates and, beginning in September, spots opening for Kacey “I didn’t say fucking yee” Musgraves. All tour dates can be found on her website.
