It appears that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are getting through to our commander-in-chief. American president and noted racist Donald Trump is stepping up big time in support of A$AP Rocky, who’s still behind bars in Sweden on an assault charge. No time to worry about the kids in cages—there’s a rapper to be freed!

Trump took to his favorite platform, Twitter, to express his feelings on the situation.

“Very disappointed in Prime Minister Stefan Löfven for being unable to act,” he tweeted today when news came that Sweden plans to officially charge Rocky with assault. “Sweden has let our African American Community down in the United States. I watched the tapes of A$AP Rocky, and he was being followed and harassed by troublemakers. Treat Americans fairly! #FreeRocky.”

That’s right: Donald Trump is out here hash-tagging tweets with “Free Rocky.” This is better than anything Black Mirror could dream up.

He then leaned in even harder, scolding Sweden over the incident in a follow-up message. “We do so much for Sweden, but it doesn’t seem to work the other way around,” Trump admonished. (What, exactly, do we do for them?)

“I personally don’t know A$AP Rocky, but I can tell you he has tremendous support from the African-American community,” Trump said during a recent press conference from the Oval Office, where he mentioned that it was FLOTUS Melania Trump who first alerted him to the situation. “When I say African-American, I think I can really say from everybody in this country, because we’re all one.”

Sure, buddy.
