Time to bust out the black tees and skull caps—Deftones have announced their second annual Dia De Los Deftones, the one-day music fest featuring metal and experimental acts. Last year the group shared the stage with Future, Mike Shinoda, and Rocket from the Crypt, while this year’s lineup is a bit more surprising.
Set to perform this year are global pop phenoms CHVRCHES, confrontational rapper JPEGMAFIA, French metal band Gojira, ’90s alt-rockers Hum, harsh EBM duo Youth Code, and Belgian metal group Brutus, as well as Deftones themselves.
“In our second year of our festival, the exciting challenge for us is to make sure we once again give the fans a wonderful day of music that reflects the diversity of our own tastes,” Deftones singer Chino Moreno shared. “Each artist fits a different vertical of the music that we all love. There is truly something for everyone.”
Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 2, at 10 a.m. PST. Exclusive VIP packages go on sale Tuesday, July 30 at 10 a.m. PST. Pre-sale opportunities will be available on Wednesday, July 31 starting at 10 a.m. PST. The festival is all ages.
