We’ve seen the name JPEGMAFIA everywhere this year, from festival spots to features on prominent hip-hop and electronica releases. One place we haven’t seen the name, though, is on lists of anticipated future releases—until today.

Shortly after sharing the first single from the record, as well as videos of Kenny Beats and DJ Dahi expressing their disappointment in it, Peggy is announcing his long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s Veteran called All My Heroes Are Cornballs with an unconventional album trailer. The rapper compiled testimonies from collaborators (Beats and Dahi, Injury Reserve, Flume, Kari Faux), peers (James Blake, Buzzy Lee), and, um, Jeff Tweedy who all attest to how absolutely dogshit it is.

“Spiritually, I think it’s left me feeling unsettled,” notes a relatively polite James Blake, while Buzzy Lee’s Sasha Spielberg professes gratitude for tomorrow being garbage day. It’s Tweedy who goes in for the kill: “Shallow attempt to draw attention away from his hairline.”

Watch the one minute vid below for the full roast, and expect the disappointment-themed album on September 13. Fall tour dates can also be found below the video.
