For fans of Zach Galifianakis’ Between Two Ferns, Phoebe Bridgers, and The National—or all three, if you’ve got good taste—here’s a treat.
The National frontman Matt Berninger has dueted with Bridgers on a song that’s out today via Dead Oceans, written for Galifianakis and Scott Aukerman’s new Netflix film version of the legendary fern interview series. The film also includes a live performance of the tune, which Berninger wrote in collaboration with his wife Carin Besser and musician Mike Brewer. In this vid, you’ll catch glimpses of Zach listening to the track’s recording session in Van Nuys.
