Politics have long acquainted people with strange bedfellows, but this instance seems especially unusual. Donald Glover is uniting with political outsider Andrew Yang for a mysterious pop-up event in Los Angeles this Thursday, December 19.

Details are scarce and there’s little indication of what fans can expect if they show up at the pop-up, scheduled to happen at noon at 507 N. Fairfax, which is normally ’80s/’90s vintage clothing store, Tried and True Co.

What we do know (via Glover’s manager, Fam Udeorji) is that both Yang and Glover will be in attendance, and that they’re “raising money for the campaign,” referring to Yang being one of the remaining Democratic candidates still in the running for next year’s election. He’s in town to participate in the sixth 2020 Democratic presidential debate, scheduled for later on the same evening.
