Last weekend Beck and St. Vincent joined Nirvana together, and today they’re keeping this collaborative momentum going with an Annie Clark–remixed version of Beck’s single “Uneventful Days.” Taking the hazy, downcast, and synth-heavy beat of the original and recrafting it as something a little more dancefloor-friendly, Clark’s remix is an ode to funk.

“I guess I was listening to a lot of ’70s Herbie and War at the time and wondering how much funk was inside me, too,” she shared in a press release for the single. “I sent it to Beck and he dug it, but he said, ‘It should be three bpm faster.’ And what do you know? HE WAS SO RIGHT. It made all the difference in the groove.”

In addition to the remix, the two will be reconvening January 28 at the LA Convention Center for Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince—a live concert set to be broadcast later this year on CBS. Tickets for the event are on sale now at AXS.com.
