Following last month’s appearance at the Tiny Desk as Megan Thee Stallion’s backing band, and hot off the heels of an Original Tracks performance, Brooklyn neo-soul ensemble Phony Ppl are sharing a brand new single today, one familiar to anyone who streamed Megan’s set behind NPR’s miniature bureau. “Fkn Around” sees the pair reconvene for a cleaned-up, funkier rendition of the polygamous anthem.
