The music world is still grieving the loss of The Muffs’ Kim Shattuck, who passed away last October after battling ALS. Shattuck was a staple of the West Coast rock scene, lending her talents to a number of projects including the co-founding of bands The Coolies, The Pandoras, and The Beards, as well as joining groups as diverse as Pixies and NOFX on-stage and in the studio.

On March 15, LA will remember Shattuck with a stacked bill at the El Rey Theatre, where her bands The Coolies and The Pandoras will play alongside her peers Redd Kross, Veruca Salt, that dog., Kathy Valentine, and more. All proceeds will benefit the ALS Association Golden West Chapter—more details on the event are listed on the flyer designed by Shepard Fairey below. Tickets are available now, and can be purchased here.

It will be the first time The Coolies have taken the stage, having just released their first EP less than a year ago. You can listen to that and purchase it here (physical copies here), with, again, all proceeds benefiting ALS Golden West.
