This past weekend Run the Jewels hopped on IG Live to surprise fans with “Yankee and the Brave (ep. 4),” the first single from the very much anticipated fourth RTJ album, RTJ4. As the airwaves continue to be flowing with good news—*touches earpiece* oh, wait—El and Mike are already dropping a second sample of what the record has in store.
“Ooh LA LA” sees the duo teaming up with Nice & Smooth’s Greg Nice and Gang Starr producer DJ Premier for an in-your-face collaboration blending the pair’s signature confrontational verses with a warbled piano sample and boom-bap beat. El-P kinda sings on the chorus—it truly has everything!
