Back in 2008, Nine Inch Nails dropped an encyclopedic drone project called Ghosts I-IV, compiling thirty-six tracks all called “Ghosts.” Well, it appears as if Trent Reznor and his band aren’t done exorcising—today the band surprise-released not one, but two new Ghost LPs (subtitled Together and Locusts respectively), which are both free to stream or download on the band’s website.

“Music—whether listening to it, thinking about it or creating it—has always been the thing that helped us get through anything—good or bad,” the band wrote on their site with the reveal of the LPs. “With that in mind, we decided to burn the midnight oil and complete these new Ghosts records as a means of staying somewhat sane.”

While these tracks have titles beyond just numerals and “Ghosts,” they’re just as ambient as those found on the 2008 release. Stream the whole project below.
