Tomorrow, the feature-length directorial debut from actor Clark Duke (Hot Tub Time Machine, Hot Tub Time Machine 2) hits streaming services. Arkansas, a significantly more serious project than what we’re used to seeing Duke’s name attached to, stars Vince Vaughn, Liam Hemsworth, Vivica A. Fox, John Malkovich, and Duke himself in an intense crime drama about drug runners in the South.

One interesting facet of the project is The Flaming Lips’ involvement—not only did the psych-rockers contribute a cover of George Jones’ “He Stopped Loving Her Today” to the film’s soundtrack, but they actually appear in the movie, performing it on stage as seen in a clip shared today. It seems like maybe they’re playing themselves? Though we may need an explanation for Wayne Coyne’s diamond-studded eye patch.

Hear the track and get a preview of the film in the video below. Arkansas arrives on streaming platforms tomorrow, May 5.
