Starting to feel a bit overwhelmed by all the festival lineup announcements? Don’t worry, that’s normal. Sit back, take a breather, and prepare for more. On today’s menu: Europe’s biggest festival for new music has just announced its first wave of artists.
For its tenth anniversary, The Great Escape Festival returns to Brighton, England, for three days of great music from emerging new talent and established rock stars alike. Southern indie-rock group Alabama Shakes will headline the event this year—triumphantly appearing at the fest again after playing to a crowd of only four-hundred back in 2012.
Roster highlights also include Django Django, Tobias Jesso Jr., and a whole host of new acts from all over the globe.
The festivities take place May 14–16 on the south coast of Great Britain. Check out the full roster below, and head to the festival website for tickets and more information.
