At this point it seems pretty certain that there won’t be any more live music in 2020—at least not the kind where audiences will be packed into enclosed spaces in- or outdoors. As the drive-in concert begins to take off, though, we’re still anticipating festivals and tours resuming in the future, with our 2021 calendars already starting to fill up.

The latest announcement for the coming year arrived today with a bang: after officially sharing that their 2020 event would be cancelled, Outside Lands announced the initial phase of their 2021 lineup, and it’s hard to make out who exactly the headliners are. In attendance will be Lizzo, Tame Impala, The Strokes, and Tyler, the Creator boasting top billing, the fest will also see performances from Vampire Weekend, J Balvin, Kehlani, The 1975, Young Thug, Beach House, JPEGMAFIA, Brittany Howard, Big Thief, Burna Boy, Angel Olsen, Rico Nasty, Moses Sumney, Nelly…and the list goes on. It should be interesting to see who among this list will have new music out in thirteen months’ time.

Three-day passes (general admission, VIP, payment plan, and Golden Gate Club passes) for the August 6-8 event go on sale here tomorrow at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. See the full lineup below.
