Back in April, Brendan Benson unveiled his latest set of tracks away from The Raconteurs, with whom he serves as co-songwriter along with Jack White. We were lucky enough to catch up with Benson before its release to discuss his first solo LP in seven years, as well as the emerging live streaming industry in the wake of the then-novel coronavirus.

Benson was once again kind enough to lend us his time to film the second installment of FLOOD’s new Neighborhoods series, in which artists step outside the confines of their bedrooms to film a performance out and about in the local outdoors. Following Reignwolf’s rousing performance at his old school in Saskatoon, Benson took to a set of train tracks in Nashville’s McCabe Park to perform his recent album’s title track (whose official video also premiered today).

Watch both the performance and the official video below. Dear Life is out now on Third Man Records.
