Kids See Ghosts

Kids See Ghosts have returned with a flashy new animated series based on the Kid Cudi and Kanye West project of the same name. The show, directed by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, and featuring Cudi (billed here by his real name, Scott Mescudi) as “Kid Fox” and West as “Kanye Bear,” has shared its first trailer.

Heavy on anime aesthetics, the trailer gives the impression of a surreal and intergalactic adventure, complete with space monsters and exploding planets. Kid Fox and Kanye Bear are at the heart of the madness, which all begins on a school bus. The clip also reveals what appears to be a sidekick character—a nature-based Transformer that plays like a grown-up take on Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. Watch it below.
