The song is a modern classic, the band is among LA’s finest. Grouplove has shared a live version of Robyn‘s 2010 single, “Dancing on My Own,” which this year has taken on a new life as a quarantine anthem.  Grouplove’s passionate take was captured during a SiriusXM session back in early-March of this year.

The official release comes as part of Canvascovers, a new compilation of cover tunes from the likes of Ben Gibbard, alt-J, Manchester Orchestra, and more. Watch the performance below.

Grouplove released their most recent album, Healer, on March 13 of this year—right as COVID-19 was effectively shutting everything down. The band has been staying busy, though, participating in a charity version of Bob Dylan’s “Shelter from the Storm,” crushing their live-from-home appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live,  releasing the single “Shout Shout Shout” to benefit Campaign Zero, and actively using their platforms to spread knowledge and resources to end police brutality and dismantle systemic racism.
