Along with “no worries if not,” “thank you, I’m sorry” seems to be among the most common modern sentiments—it also happens to be the name of a Minneapolis pop-punk trio currently planning the release of their second LP in under twelve months. In case you missed them the first time they were released, TYIS are repackaging a handful of tracks from their stripped-down acoustic debut for I’m Glad We’re Friends, which drops this Friday.

After fortifying their 2019 single “Manic Pixie Dream Hurl” with electric guitar, bass, and drums, the trio are sharing a brand new track today ahead of release day. “Follow Unfollow” is an equally harmonious dive into the anxious psyche of vocalist Colleen Dow, who chose a title for the track that recalls another anxiety-driven reflex, this one exclusive to social media.

Stream the new track here, and tune in on August 20 for the album release Zoom party. Find more details below.
