Between his powerviolence band Regional Justice Center taking off and his gig as a video director for like-minded peers in Drug Church, Angel Du$t, and Gatecreeper, Ian Shelton’s been plenty busy lately. In addition to all this, back in April he launched a Bandcamp for his new hardcore project Militarie Gun with a two-track demo tape (simply called “Demo,” though the album art may suggest “It’s Fucking Over for You Clowns” as the alternative title), which he’s following up today with a full EP called My Life Is Over.

Paired with the four-song EP (the two from the demo, plus two unheard tracks) is a video “Dislocate Me,” which sees the band jamming the tune in an industrial practice space. The Shelton-directed clip captures the five-piece’s menacing live energy over the course of its brief two minutes, punctuating the relative calm of its post-punk verses with clamoring choruses. Oh, and, uh, don’t mind that couple graphically goin’ at it in the background.
