illuminati hotties, Bartees Strange, and Diet Cig to Play Ratboys’ 25-Hour Halloween Telethon

The marathon stream will also feature sets from The Beths, Anjimile, and Prince Daddy & the Hyena.

Beloved indie quartet Ratboys will be hosting a 25-hour telethon on October 31 starting at 10 a.m. PST. It will be live on their Twitch, and the goal is to raise money for the Equal Justice Initiative and Girls Rock! Chicago

Virtual performances at the event will include sets from Foxing’s Conor Murphy, Laura Stevenson, The Beths, Bartees Strange, Diet Cig, illuminati hotties, Prince Daddy & the Hyena, Anjimile, Adult Mom, Disq, Chris Farren, Oceanator, Rosie Tucker, and many more. There will also be pumpkin carving and spooky stories.

“We’re going to be exhausted, and it’s going to be an absolute blast,” vocalist/guitarist Julia Steiner said in a press release. Instead of having no Halloween plans, indie rock fans can stay up for 25 hours, help some organizations, watch great artists, all while staying socially distanced.

🎃🔥🎃 BIG NEWS… introducing the Halloween Telethon, where we’re gonna stream live for 25 HOURS STRAIGHT on Halloween to raise as much $ as possible for The Equal Justice Initiative and Girls Rock! Chicago 🎃🔥🎃 it’s so damn unfair that Halloween is finally on a Saturday this year, when it’s not really safe or smart to hang out with friends in person. so we wanted to organize something to aid causes we care about, to bring folks together virtually and provide something fun to tune into while we're all celebrating at home 🎃🔥🎃 we’re gonna carve some frckn pumpkins, rank some candy, wear some crazy costumes, + we got 40+ artists stopping by to share some tunes & some company. it’s gonna be really fun 🎃🔥🎃 hope to see u sometime during the 25 hours and hope you’ll consider donating & telling some friends! more to come…
