While you may recognize them from their starring role on Netflix’s Trinkets or HBO’s The Deuce, Kat Cunning has put equal emphasis on their music career in recent years, populating their Spotify page with a handful of singles—including a cover of Alexi Murdoch’s “Orange Sky,” which was recorded for Hulu’s Looking for Alaska adaptation. Their musical career was solidified when music tastemaker Annie Mac dubbed them “One to Watch,” a title that should certainly make listeners take note.

For “Neighborhoods,” Kat gave a two-song set from their backyard in LA, where they played to a live audience of naked and limbless mannequins. With their friend Edison playing along on guitar, they served up a short setlist comprised of recent singles “Supernova” and “King of Shadow,” providing a bit of context for each song.
