Danny Brown didn’t forget, and he’s not letting a pandemic interrupt a treasured Detroit tradition. The Motor City rapper has announced that the seventh annual Bruiser Thanksgiving event will go forward in 2020, despite, well, everything. This year’s event will feature Shigeto, ZelooperZ, Tiny Jag, Bruiser Wolf, and, of course, Danny himself. The show is set to stream from a house on Detroit’s east side that fans will recognize as the setting for Brown’s “Best Life” music video. The show benefits the extremely worthy Inside Out Detroit initiative, which works to encourage and empower the creative voice for local Detroit youth. Be a real one and donate today.
