With the Atlanta rapper and actor recently displaying a newfound prowess playing the flute, now we discover that this half of OutKast knows his way around a kitchen well enough to whip up a serious apple pie. Benjamin has shared a family apple pie recipe, and for a good cause: the #PassItDown campaign for Meals on Wheels Atlanta.

“The holidays are different this year because we can’t hang with our friends & families like we would normally,” Benjamin shared on Instagram. “But for many of our elders, they may be lonely or food insecure now and much of the year. I am happy to be part of the #PassItDown campaign with @mealsonwheelsatlanta because they are doing really amazing things. My offering is my family recipe and helping to give love and support to an elder in need. You can donate, adopt a senior, give of yourself, and offer love to a senior who may need you this season. Food is love.”

Being André 3000, he shared the “Quick Lil’ Apple Pie” in the form of a stylishly hand-written (and drawn) recipe which details how to make the surely tasty hand pies. See it below.
